BCAP Round 2 Extension Grant

The Business Costs Assistance Program Round Two July Extension provides eligible businesses that had not previously applied for the program in June, or have since become eligible, with the opportunity to apply for $4800 in support.

Eligibility:

  • Your business must hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) and have held that ABN on and from 15 July 2021.

  • Your business must be registered for Goods and Services Tax (GST) on 15 July 2021.

  • Your business must operate in an eligible sector listed in the eligible ANZSIC classes for this program (see the below list).

  • Your business must have incurred direct costs because of the restrictions and cannot fully operate remotely.

  • Your business must not have received a grant from the Business Costs Assistance Program Round Two or the Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021.

In summary, the government will automatically “top up” your grants received if you are eligible for them and have registered for these before. You do not need to do anything.

If you are a new business (since 15th July) or have changed your business so that you now qualify for the grant, you can apply now for round 2. In this case, you can either apply yourself, or contact us (via email atvanessa@mirandas.com.au) if you would like us to do so on your behalf.

Please note that if you are not in these business industries, there are no further grants available. If you are looking for income support, you must do so through MyGov services (or Centrelink) for the disaster relief support payments. We can not assist you with Centrelink payments as they are not through the tax office.

As always, we are here to support you and your business, so please contact us if we can be of further assistance.

The team at Miranda Accounting.
