The 2018 Biggest Playdate, supporting Monash Children's Hospital.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Miranda Foundation’s Biggest Playdate, in support of Monash Children’s Hospital. Without the incredible generosity of our supporters we couldn’t have achieved so much in the past years, including raising over $80,000 towards the research program All Aboard, which develops technology allowing cancer patients to receive high dose methotrexate treatment at home. It is our wish to continue supporting our world class hospital and our wider community, by realising the Miranda Foundation’s motto of being ‘In it Together’.

As you know, the Biggest Playdate is back, bigger and better than ever on Saturday 24th March, 2018 and we are reaching out to our generous friends and supporters. Last year many of you contacted your professional network to request product donations or graciously donated your time and we are hoping that you can support us again this year. The event is aimed at primary school children and their families in our community and we aim to have 300 families attending on the day. In particular, I am hoping that you can assist on the day and sponsor our event. I am hoping that I can come to a meeting and tell everyone about it. Can you also contact some of your suppliers to see if they can sponsor our event? As always we will promote and recognise your contribution through our social media platform and at the event, on the day. Our event flyer is above for anyone who may be interested – the more people we get there, the more money we raise! Please post this on any site you feel relevant. I can provide you with printed copies if you like. You can like and indicate your attendance on our Facebook page and invite all your friends to come along too – The Biggest Playdate 2018. The Miranda Foundation raises money and awareness for the Monash Children's Cancer Centre. The Miranda family, local Patterson lakes residents, have a long history with Monash Hospital. Sienna was born prematurely in 2008 and died. Taylah was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014 and has been treated successfully through Monash Cancer Centre. 100% of all proceeds raised go directly to the hospital. All overheads are covered by a wonderful team of volunteers and by the community. We are a DGR registered charity and all donations are tax deductible. We truly appreciate your efforts and are grateful for your commitment to Monash Children’s Hospital. It takes a community to build a hospital and with our collective effort, we will make a difference. You may not be a cancer parent, or a bereaved parent, so spreading awareness and supporting this cause is not a priority. But the day before my childs diagnosis, neither was I. Thank you for reading about us, and I hope you can support this wonderful community event.
